Year of the Built Environment, Royal Exhibition Building

A series of collectible cards developed as a gift for the attendees of a gala dinner to celebrate the Year of the Built Environment in 2005. The cards, using the famous Eames interlocking House of Cards format were produced on license from the Eames Office and displayed 50 significant built environments from across the State of Victoria. The project was made possible due to the support of John Gollings, who provided the photographs featured on the cards.

Tabcorp – Singapore Integrated Resort Submission

Submission documentation and packaging for Tabcorp’s bid to the Singapore Government for the development and running of a casino complex at Marina Bay. The package contained 2 x A4 annual reports, 2 x A3 design and financial documents, an A2 executive summary and 24 x double B1 plans. Tabcorp was one of four companies who were shortlisted for development after phase 1.

The Cape

A naming and branding exercise for what was formerly known as the Shearwater Cape Schanck Resort. Cape Schanck is located about one and a half hours out of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula and the area is most clearly identified by the lighthouse which in years gone by directed ships safely into the traitorous Western Port Bay.

Peninsula Country Golf Club

Some jobs require subtle refinement rather than a complete redesign. Peninsula Country Golf Club had a beautiful emblem, however it had been bastardised over the years of reproduction. We recrafted the typography and created a new structure for the application of the identity.

Melbourne Central retail leasing suite

Charged with the task of changing the perception of a major retail centre undergoing redevelopment after the anchor tenant had closed their doors, we commissioned London based illustrator Paul Davis to develop a series of unexpected and confronting images for use within a new retail leasing suite. The suite was designed by architects Ashton Raggatt McDougall.
