This followed an earlier policy document for the City of Melbourne which included a series of John Gollings flash lit images of trees.
Australian Mathematical Sciencies Instutute identity

The Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute’s mission is to become a nationally and internationally recognised centre for the mathematical sciences, providing service to its member institutions, improving the international competitiveness of Australian industry and commerce and enhancing the national level of school mathematics, by the provision and support of mathematical and statistical expertise. The identity is formed through the use of binary code numbers zero and one to create the acronym AMSI.
City of Greater Geelong identity
30.10.2000Ever since the gold rush in the 1850s when a map was deviously created showing Melbourne as being closer to the gold fields than Geelong and subsequently causing it to become the capital city of the Colony of Victoria, Geelong has suffered living in the shadows of Melbourne. The rebranding of the City of Greater Geelong in 2000 sought to address this long standing shadowing by positioning the city with the national focus, Geelong Australia.
