Packaging for a new line of fruit juices by Donnyboy Fresh Food Company. These unique juices are pasteurised using cold pressure rather than heat, which ensures greater retention of nutrition and natural flavour. The juices are available in the following varieties; Royal Gala, Granny Smith, Fuji, Apple & Lemon, Apple & Pear and Valenica.

David Pidgeon had the pleasure of being one of twelve speakers to present to a crowd of over 1,600 people at the Semi-Permanent conference in Auckland held on 15 & 16 August.

David’s presentation looked at what he considers the bottom line in the business of design and what he considers the high ground. A number of requests for the text have been emailed to the studio, so we thought it best to post it on the website, projects illustrating the points can be found on the site.

Each year Ahn Sang-Soo, a Korean based designer, invites 11 friends to illustrate a month for his calendar. Pidgeon’s response looked to typographically illustrate a J for January and a 9 for the year 2009 in the same graphic, which optically becomes clearer the further you move away.
