7th AGDA National Awards
23.11.2004At the 7th Australian Graphic Design Association National Awards, GollingsPidgeon walked away with 23 awards across 10 categories: identity, stationery, publication, posters, packaging, book design, photography, typography, environmental design, promotion to the creative industry and miscellaneous. The RAIA Judging Architecture book and exhibition project received two Judges’ Choice awards, a Special Recognition award and two rarely awarded Pinnacle awards.




Melbourne Central wayfinding signage
22.11.2004A complete wayfinding system, including major informational, minor wayfinding and statutory signage for Lend Lease Retail as part of their $200 million redevelopment of Melbourne Central.Steering away from ‘shopping centre’ mentality, these signs were developed to reflect the city laneway environment, using common furniture as inspiration. This modular system was designed to be cost effective and easily interchangable, to allow for future expansion.
Kidney Health Australia
21.11.2004A new name and identity for the Australian Kidney Foundation. The K is representative of a figure with the two circle segments being representative of the kidneys.
Heavenly Creatures invitation and catalogue
21.11.2004An invitation and catalogue design for the exhibition Heavenly Creatures, which explored the recurring motif of the angle in modern Australian art. A beautifully executed die-cut turned the two dimensional products into three dimensional objects.




The Cape
20.10.2004A naming and branding exercise for what was formerly known as the Shearwater Cape Schanck Resort. Cape Schanck is located about one and a half hours out of Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula and the area is most clearly identified by the lighthouse which in years gone by directed ships safely into the traitorous Western Port Bay.
