December 2000

In 2000, David Lancashire invited Pidgeon as his guest to the AGI Conference in Mexico. His journey home took him via Chicago where he saw a retrospective of Sol LeWitt at the Museum of Contemporary Art. LeWitt’s studies of the six sided cube inspired Pidgeon to use the same strict geometry to explore variation and legibility in typographic form.
